Designer & Tailoring Policies:
1. Rushed Alteration Fee:
A $100 fee applies to all rushed alterations. Rush service is defined as any request requiring a turnaround of less than 10 business days.
2. Custom Design Quote Disclaimer:
Quotes given during consultations for custom garments are estimates only. Final pricing may increase or decrease based on:
Fabric selection
Embellishments or special finishings
Internal support structures (e.g., boning, corsetry)
Pattern complexity or design revisions
3. Deposit Policy:
A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to book all fittings and begin work. This will be credited toward your final balance.
Appointments will not be confirmed until the deposit is received.
4. Clean Garment Requirement:
All items brought in for tailoring must be clean.
Unwashed garments will incur a cleaning fee or may be refused at the discretion of the designer.
5. Fitting & Appointment Punctuality:
Please arrive on time for your scheduled fitting. Clients more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule.
No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a fee, loss of deposit, or refusal to service.
6. Payment Terms:
Full payment is due upon final pickup or delivery (travel fees may apply).
Accepted payment methods: Cash app, Apple Pay, Zelle, Venmo, Cash
Late payments may result in additional fees.
7. Turnaround Times:
Standard turnaround time for alterations is 2–3 weeks. Custom garments may take 6–8 weeks+, depending on complexity and material sourcing.
8. Final Fit Approvals:
Final fittings are your opportunity to request changes. Once a garment is picked up or approved, further changes may incur additional charges.
9. Fabric & Client-Supplied Materials Disclaimer:
While I take the utmost care with all garments and materials, I am are not responsible for damage to fabrics provided by the client that may occur during construction or alteration, especially if the material is delicate, vintage, or previously altered.
10. Refunds & Returns:
Due to the custom nature of this work, all sales are final.
I do not offer refunds on labor, custom pieces, or altered items.
